Yum! Brands / A&W Art Package

Yum! Brands hired us to create several new graphics for the interior and exterior of their A&W restaurants. We were asked to create billboards, posters, and exterior signage. A&W is an iconic brand and one of the most popular soft drinks in the US. It has a long history in this country, beginning with the first A&W root beer stand in 1919. With close to 1,000 locations throughout the world, they are a brand that is deeply connected to the small-town communities that have supported them for years. We chose to celebrate A&W's history by using imagery that was inspired by Americana and their tag line “All American food”. We created vintage roadside themed posters that highlighted the food that made them famous, as well as billboards that showcased their most popular “Sweets & Treats".
