Yum! Brands / Long John Silvers / A&W Mural

When Yum! Brands decided to combine their two restaurants (Long John Silver and A&W) at select locations, they discovered they had a problem: they needed to merge the visuals for both restaurants successfully.  They hired Subzero to find a way to make that visual merger a success. We decided to illustrate and create quick visual cues for each franchise. We then combined them together in an organized yet visually pleasing and dynamic way. Another challenge was to present both brands equally. To showcase and celebrate what these two brands had in common: Family fun dining.
We created a retro/vintage illustration style that was fun, lively, relevant and would stand the test of time.
This duel branded mural was one several graphics that we created, that combined both brands harmoniously.
