Yum! Brands / KFC Global Poster Series

This poster series was created for Yum! Brands, specifically for KFC international market. The KFC owners in country’s like Belgium, the UK, Germany & Poland were looking for new and modern artwork to enhance their restaurants. They were also seeking new ways to depict the fact that that they create their food “by hand” and use “farm fresh" natural ingredients. Shown here is one of the art package’s that we created to satisfy that demand. KFC locations overseas are a bit more upscale than what we see here in the U.S. The graphics are expected to be more design-forward and match the modern esthetics seen in large urban European cities. We chose to create a visually striking assortment of posters to announce KFC’s commitment to using only farm fresh ingredients and farm raised chickens. "Hand’s on" food preparation was depicted and echoed by using "hand-lettered” and very "hand-done” looking illustration. Over 12 countries utilized these posters which created a demand to have them translated into 12 different languages. That was a busy year for us!
